Pull hair back tightly, slightly higher than the crown of your head. Secure the ponytail with a monkey band. Hint: Using a styling wax in the hair will help hair look smooth and tame flyaways.

Separate hair into 1- 2-inch sections (depending on your preference). Take each section individually and loop under and secure the end of the loop near the ponytail with a www.pin. Move on and continue to move around the ponytail until all barrel curls are secured.
